Postcards going round the world from Rome to Timbuktu!
But think of us poor little kids who live around your block
The only place we seem to go is to the letter box
Well we don't need a passport or a visa for all that
Just see all of the postcards we can pull out of our hat!

Lisa, artists, mimes, can-can dancers…)
Jean: Bonjour messieurs…
Pierre: And mademoiselles…
Brigette: Welcome to gay Paris! (pronounced 'Par-ee')
Jean: We have so much for you to do…
Pierre: So much for you to see.
Brigette: Go the see the paintings in the Louvre.
Jean: Go boating on the Sane.
Pierre: Climb up the Effiel Tower… Then climb
back down again.
Brigette: Versailles! The church of Notre Dame.
Jean: The Moulin Rouge risqué!
(The Chorus all act as if they've just been caught in the nude)
All: Oooh!
Pierre: Taste frogs' legs topped with escargo and dipped
in fresh yoplait.
All: Yuk!
Brigette: There's just one rule in Paris that you should
