– at a 10 year reunion of the Class of ‘92
Rock: Faith. You remember Brick.
Charity: (Surprised) Brick?
Brick: (Equally surprised) Charity?
Amber: Ridge?
Thorn: (Correcting her) Thorn.
Amber: Thorn?
Ridge: (Pointing to himself) Ridge.
Amber: Oh Ridge…
Hope: (Frostily) Alexis.
Alexis: Hello Hope. Ignore her. She’s just jealous.
Hope: Jealous?
Alexis: Stop lying to yourself Hope. You know that
you're jealous because Bo broke up with you and married me.
Charity: And we know how well that turned out, don't
we?
Alexis: Well at least I have a life. Are your little
suburban lives so hollow that you have to re-live the pathetic losers
you were at school?
Brooke: If you don't like the idea, you didn't have
to come.
Faith: Most of us wish that you hadn't.
(Alexis moves downstage in a flood of tears)
Bo: Alexis – I know that the divorce got a little
messy but I want you to know that I still care for you.
Alexis: All that I ever wanted was to know that you
were there for me.
Bo: Well I am Alexis. I am.
Alexis: Then maybe… Oh no – those are crazy
thoughts that can never be.
Bo: What Alexis? What?
Alexis: There's too many burnt bridges, too make wrongs
to make right…
Bo: Are you saying…?
Alexis: Yes.
Bo: But I…
Alexis: I know.
Bo: But maybe…
Alexis: Yes.
Bo: And it would need…
Alexis: Of course.
Bo: Well then… Since I've made myself clear…
Alexis: Oh Bo. It will be wonderful again – I
hope that we can work it all out this time.
Bo: (Plaintively) Hope…
