'MYTH
WORLD'
Scene
– at the Myth World Pageant 2004.
Ken: Well ladies and gentlemen, this is it –
the night of nights!
Barbie: And what a night of glamour and entertainment
we have you this evening as we bring you the Myth World Pageant 2004!
I’m Barbie Kew…
Ken: And I’m Ken Worth. Well Barbie, we sure
do have swell line up of myths from all over the globe. Who’s
your hot tip to take out this year’s title?
Barbie: Unlike last year’s fly away victory to
the Tooth Fairy, this year’s field is a little too close to call.
Ken: Surely you have your favourites.
Barbie: Well with Dracula out under the blood rule
and with the shock withdrawal of Cinderella…
Ken: That’s right – the fairytale controversy…
Barbie: Without Cinderella, my top five would have
to include the Yeti, the Egyptian Mummy, the fun-loving Bunyip from
down under, North America’s Saskwatch and the Loch Ness Monster.
Ken: And who could go past everyone’s North Pole favourite –
Santa Claus.
Barbie: Don’t count out the Unicorn either Ken.
He could be the dark horse in this year’s pageant.
Ken: The bookmakers have him at 16 to 1… at least
that’s his odds down at the track. But seriously, enough from
us and on with the Myth World Pageant 2004!
